Madden 15 will not complete disc install

After letting game install from disc last nite, I get up to play before work. I get a nessage about have person who bought game install game disc and click finish. I follow directions, but get same error. I have Kinect and am recognized, but I choose myself
again anyway. Could this be related to me already having Madden15 on my home XBoxOne in another state, this is my second XBoxOne console?

So without internet access it's impossible to play any games this gen, correct?

Whats the point of buying a retail disc if you have to wait 45-60 minutes for it to "download/install" after you pop it in?

Shouldn't everything be installing from that large bluray disc instead of relying on the internet?

Was disappointed to find out it would take more than 10 minutes for Madden 15 to install on my XB1.

Someone please explain to me why all this is necessary, I'm completely lost ATM

Answered my own question. Disable network before doing disc install. Hard reboot console, reconnect network. Madden will take forever on slower wireless networks. If all else fails reinstall.

Hi again,

just a quick follow up. I was able to resolve this issue by doing a factory reset on my console. Once the reset completed, Madden 15 installed just fine.

Minor update - my xbox one will not play my Madden 15 either - so now my original disc of Madden 16 gets an (0x80820002) error message while my brand new copy of Madden 16 gets the same message and now the previous version of the game (Madden 15) will not
work while all my other games' discs (MGS5, Fallout 4, ect.) work fine - my xbox officially does not want me to play Madden. I will hesitate to purchase any other future releases of this title because of this odd phenomenon

If the console is connected to the net right now then head over to Settings and see if there is an update pending for the console. If there is then that may be what is halting the other updates.

Hey guys please i'm having this exact problem and it's really the most frustrating thing ever. I've tried turning and completely rebooting the system as well as uninstalling the game (Madden 15) and trying to reinstall still no luck. I even tried a brand
new game (Watch Dogs) that i hadnt installed yet to see of there was a problem with the Madden CD and neither of them are installing. All it says it Installation stopped and brings up the error code above. Please help!!!
