    Madden 15 Oct 7th Update on Xbox One


    We purchased EA's Madden 15 Ultimate edition for a staggering $80. My son installed the game with his Gold Live account and entered in the code to get access to the ultimate pack. When the game loads it freezes at loading the roster official and the wheel
    just spins, spins, 2 hours later still spinning. We've done the usual delete the game and re-added it, deleted his profile, unplugged it, etc.

    I know there is an update for this game per EA's website which appears to address this issue but I can't figure out how to get it. They said it was released on Oct 7th.

    How do manually\force the install a game update?

    Hi, depending what power settings your Xbox One is set to, then your Xbox would have downloaded the update automatically or would have asked to to start the update when you 1st started to play the game.

    Minor update - my xbox one will not play my Madden 15 either - so now my original disc of Madden 16 gets an (0x80820002) error message while my brand new copy of Madden 16 gets the same message and now the previous version of the game (Madden 15) will not
    work while all my other games' discs (MGS5, Fallout 4, ect.) work fine - my xbox officially does not want me to play Madden. I will hesitate to purchase any other future releases of this title because of this odd phenomenon
