Discus and support Mac remote play, not only xcloud in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; guess that won't be super popular, but I would love to have remote play on my Mac (with Apple silicone).     guess that won't be super popular, but I would love to have remote play on my Mac (with Apple silicone). It works well on iOS, so seems like a no brainer to allow it for Mac as well.

    Can you enable a virtual controller while using remote play on mobile?

    No at this time it is only a feature of xcloud
    Is xcloud not the same as mobile gaming (remote play)?

    Remote play ala xcloud is only available on gamepass ultimate

    Game.streaming.via.the xbox companion app requires a xbox

    Keep in mind you can't.use.the.xbox while you are.using.the wireless gamestreaming
    Huh? Remote Play is nothing to do with Xcloud or Game Pass. And if it won't work, then how can they get it working on their Android device? And they have an Xbox so that's not the issue.

    They are trying to Remote Play their Series X games from their Series X console to their PC via the Remote Play feature and using the Xbox App. This should work without an issue, as it does with their Android device. There is nothing on the Remote Play page to suggest Game Pass is needed

    Remote play requires a compatible controller

    Which runs off your local installed games not ckoud

    The only way you would be able to do that is xcloud which does not require a console but the xgu

    What you are talking about is the old wireless display. Now remote play

    Since the remote play is truely a feature of Windows 10 playing on a mac without Windows 10 will not work.

    I can confirm however that running a windows 10 parallels VM will in fact let you play and stream the xbox from my macbook pro.
