    By default the router has disabled the MAC address filter, if you did not activate the filter the router should not do anything, the mac address of your xbox should be indicated in the box or the sticker of the console.

    eliminating the colons worked for me, thank you
    IF anyone is still getting caught up in the MAC address junk I found a solution by holding down the power button for 10 seconds! It works every time I have an issue with the connections unit on my XBOX. Perhaps it might work fro you guys?

    MAC address format (when entered on the Xbox One) shouldn't require the colons or dashes. For example, "AB-CD-EF-12-34-56" would be entered as "ABCDEF123456".

    Alternatively, you can try spoofing the MAC address on your other devices (using the MAC address of your Xbox).
