Lower Price?

Somewhat irrelevant but ill follow up.

Nintendo's 3DS had an $80 price reduction after 4-5 months due to poor sales after release. Though back to what Lloydy said... It was MS' first console after all. And that was a time I still liked Nintendo (So many weekends wasted on Meele).

I think that's optimistic. If they reduce price that quickly MS would have to be willing to admit it's not looking good at all. Which in itself is not good for the console. I doubt xbox one is doing that badly for them to so quickly make such an admittance
(I do think it's doing worse than PS4 though). I suppose including a game or two package might be a more reasonable solution (they don't have to make an outright admittance but they add more value to make the price tag not look so bad) but I still think that
seeing it in February seems way too soon (I'd say more like June/July).

MS I would think would at least hold out longer than that before conceding they'd have to do something. To be fair they surprised me with how quick they 180'd on their original policies. Judging by MS's usual M.O. I expected them to wait until the console
was on sell and to see the numbers it was selling before deciding to make a 180 on the policies. Their pre order numbers must have been horrendous for them to decide without solid sales numbers to 180. MS would prefer to get customers to do things their way
and suck it up vs. paying attention to what the customer wants ("Deal with it" is very much an MS attitude towards customers). And MS insists on trying to get the customer to do that first (They have the money they can fall back on if it fails). Which is why
I think they even were stupid enough to announce those policies officiallu despite there already being very solid evidence people didn't want it (I mean it was causing an uproar before MS even put out an official statement). They didn't care, they were going
to try to see if they could get people to buy it anyways. Dumb on MS's part cause if they hadn't made an official announcement they could have just said those were unfounded rumors and I bet they'd be in a much better position now. Those pre order numbers
must have been screaming that they would have a complete failure if they didn't remove the policies.

Though I would not be surprised if it does get a price reduction in less than 2 years (I think if things keep going the way they are now they would be kind of foolish to wait 2 years for a price reduction). Though I'd say 2 years seems about standard for a
price reduction if your console is doing how you want.

I chose xbox because that is the console I prefer. I love the games and the graphics are great. BUT... Just like their computers, they have taken main ideas from apple but have forgotten the main component that makes apple so great. USER FRIENDLY. My xbox
one cant play netflix most of the time because it wont relaunch after being shut off. You don't have the ability (at least to my knowledge: and if its possible its not clear at all) to close an app so I don't have to turn of my xbox one 3 times and log in
and out to access netflix. Its so bad I resorted to simply playing netflix on my old xbox. Secondly, another one of many stupid features is watching movies on the xbox one. let me rewind with the trigger and pause with a simple button touch. Don't make me
push select and navigate through a million options to get down to pause because at that point I am *** off and have to rewind just in order to not miss the scene I was simply trying to pause. It just irritates me that u all make so much money off the device,
why not wait until u get the kinks out before u sell the *** device. And one last thing... it took me 10 min to simply find somewhere I could express my frustrations and try to help u so figure it out please. Im a Mechanical Engineer who is great with computers
and I know the intellectuals who are involved in your company so figure it out please or I will just throw my xbox one off my balcony and buy from the Asians!

Colton. Press the menu button on the app you wish to close, then just scroll down to quit. You want to pause a video you're watching? Just press A twice.

 

or if you anti'd up and bought a kinect..Xbox pause works well..

and... if Netflix is not working correctly... guess who's fault that is?? yup.. Netflix.. MS does not own nor make or maintain anything about Netflix...

but.. my netflix works perfectly... sure the search is screwy... but what ever

One store in my town the x1 will be going back up to $399.99 May 2nd, though I got word from my friend who is the manager of Gamestop she has gotten no word about it going back up, but to be safe I moved up my purchase of an xbox one up a month which makes
my wait only under 2 weeks.

 

I think I,ll wait for a limited edition gears collection , with a 1tb hdd which has not been announced yet.I'm sure it's coming. Maybe after e3 or announcement of gears 4.
