Low vision user difficulties: A personal view

Hello everyone, I am having some difficulties navigating the Xbox dashboard as well as my current controller setup, and would like suggestions or advice on how to navigate these issues for myself. I was torn whether or not this would be a question or a discussion,
upon further examination it is apparent that this would fall more along the lines of a questions rather than a discussion, although if this in not the case please feel free to let me know of my lapse in judgement.

In regard to the dashboard itself the dark contrast in colors is making it difficult to contrast between various menu options; for example selecting my game versus looking up Games with Gold, its appearing to me that the spaces between these are too ham
packed, is there a way these could be expanded or increased so as to provide broader accessibility for users?

With my controller, using the original Xbox One controller, the Xbox One X, and the Battlefield (forgot the number) army green controller I am having increasing difficulties finding the right button sequence during games. This is especially more pronounced
in Skyrim, where the wrong move could potentially cause you to die/lose your progress. Does anyone have a suggestion for controller colors in a more lighter aesthetic? I am currently looking at the grey and green combination via Best Buy, though do not know
if this option is the most accessibility for other users with vision issues, as such would appreciate any and all feedback on this two part inquiry.

These are just a few questions that have come to mind, when the others become relevant or remembered by me, I will post them in due time.
