Lousy connection (wireless) between PC and Xbox One

Used the Xbox App today to stream and play The Division. Kept getting a connection error in the bottom left corner and it was slowing the game down. This is all done wireless and for some reason my PC has 4 bars and everything else has 5. I am using a 5
ghz connection and my Xbox One is only 10 feet away from my PC. Is there away to fix this? If not can I run a hardline from the xbox to my PC? My Xbox One never gives me internet issues. Is there away to fix my connection in general to my PC? I am using a
    wireless USB adapter.

    :)

Connect xbox elite controller to PC

The elite controller doesn't have bluetooth so unless you have a MS wireless receiver connected to your PC, no way you are getting a wireless connection between your PC and controller.

You can use a wired connection or use one of the newer controllers who do have bluetooth.

Lousy connection (wireless) between PC and Xbox One

Hi Metal, Sorry to hear your experiencing connection loss when trying to stream. Connection issues is a tuff issue to isolate given your network setup, IP and configuration. You won't be able to hardline your Xbox to your PC, but you can try plugging one
of your devices directly using a cable to see if that improvements the performance.

Also reference this article to see if it may help. support.xbox.com/.../improve-game-streaming-performance.

If nothing helps and the issue continues. DL Xbox App Beta by searching the store on your PC with that title. Then use the "Report a problem' so logs are generated and sent to the developers to investigate.

    Thanks for the feedback,

anyone successfully connect logitech g935 headset to xbox one wirelessly?

According to the user manual of the G935 headset, you connect the headset to the Xbox One controller via the headphone jack cable.

For wireless operation, the G935 uses the USB adapter that only works on PC. So on the console, you have the wireless connection between console and controller. But from controller to headset, you have a wired connection to the headset.

The wireless USB adapter that connects the headset to the PC doesn't work on the Xbox One.

Switching Series X Controller between Xbox and PC

Looking at the guide it says thus:

"The Xbox Wireless Controller that comes with Xbox Series X|S includes a feature that allows for quickly switching between a paired Bluetooth device and an Xbox console or a PC using Xbox Wireless. If the controller is connected to a Bluetooth device, double-press the Pair button and the controller will immediately switch its connection to the last Xbox Wireless connection it was paired to. Then, to switch back to the paired Bluetooth device, press and hold the Pair button to start pairing mode".

This only works between a the controller paired to a PC with Bluetooth or another PC or Xbox paired via the proprietary 'Xbox Wireless' protocol. So, if you're using an Xbox Adaptor on your laptop and also own an Xbox you can only pair it to one of them. If you want to quickly swap between console and PC you'll have to use Bluetooth on the PC.

It's the same issue you'd get if you owned two consoles, you can only pair a controller to one console.

    Xbox controller is crashing pc

    Hey there Skript!

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this problem with your controller working on PC.

I would suggest that if you haven't tried already, look over our pages entitled

Troubleshoot the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows
    and
How to connect an Xbox One Wireless Controller to a Windows PC
. It has steps on how to update your controller as well as troubleshoot Bluetooth connection between the two devices.

If and when you get a chance, give those pages a look through and let us know how that went.

    Thanks!
