nope as security prevents them even accessing your account, without your old number you cannot get the code therefore your account is locked out and not retrievable.

Also depends which country as countries have different privacy laws, but even trying to take it to court won't work as they will throw it out as the company is following strict security measures.

Your own fault for not keeping the information on the account up to date which is also part of the terms and conditions. clearly states when you activate 2FA .

And you state you have not accessed the account for three years, well Xbox accounts get closed after 2 years due to inactivity, this is also stated in the terms.

If you had 2FA enabled on the account and you changed phone number without updating the account then you can't use the recovery form due to 2FA and support cannot access the account without the code sent to your old number as they are unable to access that account and are not allowed by law.

The account holder has a responsibility to update their information on the account when it changes.

Cant be the account recovery suggestion as I didnt even have internet at the time as Id just moved house.sorry prob shud have sed in original post. neway was just wondering if ayone knows if the reset is possible or if I can contact xbox support directly
