The FREEdom Play-A-Thon lets eligible members rack up chances to win for registering and playing Free to Play games during the sweepstakes duration. For more information on qualifying games, please see Question 3. Here’s how it works:

1. Sign in to your Xbox Live Rewards account and register for the sweepstakes to get your first 10 entries. This is an important step, as we won’t be able to give you entries for playtime until you register for the sweepstakes.
   
2. Get your game on! You’ll earn 1 entry for every 3 minutes you play Free to Play games before February 12 — and if you reach your personal Play-A-Thon Goal of 4 hours, you’ll activate
   the bonus round, and will earn entries at TWICE the rate.
3. Come back often to track your progress! Please note it can take up to 96 hours (4 days) for your gameplay to show up, but don’t worry, we’re counting it all!
   
4. See how many entries you can rack up! We’re giving away over $500,000 worth of SWEET prizes, including a Grand Prize Gaming Suite (ARV: $3,713)!

Essentially, the "BONUS ROUND" is just a counter for all your entries you accrue that go over the 90 entry cap for the Grand Prize. While the entries you earn will not go towards the Grand Prize after you hit 90, you will still earn entries that will go
towards the Gift Card drawing.

The more bonus entries you have, the more entries you'll have in the Gift Card drawing, so that extra playtime you have once you go over 90 entries won't go to waste. If you keep playing the free to play games that you would normally play, you'll keep racking
up the entries!
