Lost saved data or something dead island

• Restoring progress from a cloud save is done by deleting your console's local data and allowing it to sync with the cloud again, which, I'm afraid is the first solution we tried:

- Quit Dead Island 2.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

- Select "My games and Apps".

- Highlight Dead Island 2, press the menu button on your controller, and select "Manage game and add-ons".

- Select "Save Data"

- Press "A" on your profile and select "Delete from console"

This not working means your cloud save data for Dead Island 2 has already been overwritten.

• In regards to restoring progress from another console's local save data, this is only possible if you have recently played Dead Island 2 on another Xbox console, and if said console still has local data we could sync with the cloud.

As I remember Dead Island had a lot of problems with corrupt game saves. I do not think there is a way to retrieve the data on a corrupt save. Don't give up hope though. Its been awhile since I checked the Dead Island forum, and another ambassador may have
suggestions for you.

I'm sorry to hear you are missing data for Dead Island 2.

Unfortunately, troubleshooting methods for this kind of problem are very limited.
Have you already tried deleting local saved data for this game? this should force your console to resync your most recent cloud save available for this game.

You can do this by going to My Games & Apps > Dead Island 2 > Manage game & add-ons > Saved data > Select your profile > Delete from the console.

* Please do keep in mind this would only work if your cloud saved data for this game hasn't been overwritten by a local saved file.
** If you already tried a factory reset, please disregard this method. A factory reset clears local saved data for all of your games.

Besides this method, I'm afraid the only other way to recover lost progress would be to retrieve it from another console you might've played on recently.

How about lost planet 2, or left for dead 2, portal 2 I see you played dead island so maybe dead island riptide. or maybe operation flashpoint (second game canny rememebr what its called maybe red river)
