Lost progress on Minecraft (again)

Yet again I have lost progress on Minecraft. The game was recently updated to 1.6.0. After downloading the update, I noticed that not one, but TWO of my worlds have gone. One of the worlds was a backup of another, yet both are completely gone.

Considering I've worked on these worlds for just over two weeks, they were absolutely definitely saved, and only disappeared after this update - I literally saved the worlds the night before.

This happened last time the game was updated, except last time, it reverted a world to an older version, instead of completely deleting the world.

A powercycle might be your best option, hold power button for 10 seconds until console turns off and then unplug for 10 seconds. After that fire it back up and try it out.

1- Try to reset the xbox and see if so when you start update the status of the game

2- Go to manage game data and check that it is installed or pending installation.

3- Uninstall the game and restart the xbox

4-Install the games and then install all the updates, be careful not to install any updates before the game.

 

Hi, if the issue with your saves started today, it probably has something to do with the issue that Xbox Live is having with Cloud storage. More info can be found on the status page here
