Lost my Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition saves.

Hi. So today, 23/2/2020 I wanted to play some Minecraft and opened the game just to be greeted by a message telling me to log in to my Microsoft account. I already knew what it meant but decided to check it anyways. What happened, was that the game
or my computer had logged me out of my Microsoft account, (probably computer, because I got once again a blank screen telling me that my Microsoft account couldn't be connected).

Now the situation is that I have lost all of my Save Files twice because of the same problem. If there is absolutely no way to get my worlds back, I might just delete the whole W10 Edition and buy Java Edition. Really frustrated to lose
all of my progress twice already. Before anyone asks, no. I do not have backup files of my Minecraft worlds.

TL;DR, lost trust for W10 Edition Minecraft and Java version for the win.

There was an issue with Microsoft servers the other day that cause a lot of issues with Microsoft accounts, Windows and other Microsoft products. Does Minecraft W10 Edition not save to the cloud?

I don't know. I have lost lost all the saves and haven't got them back. No idea where to look if there is a cloud save, but at least it doesn't bring those files back automatically.

I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....

There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

I bought the Windows 10 version of Minecraft by mistake, but the one I wanted was the java edition.

I saw that anyone who buys minecraft java edition is entitled to minecraft Windows 10. Is the reverse also true? Who buys minecraft windows 10 is entitled to minecraft java edition?

If so, how do I access the java edition version at no additional cost?
