Lost my microsoft account that had my Mojang account.

Sorry to hear about what happened. Since your Minecraft/Mojang account was already migrated to a Microsoft account, they're already linked as one. If you wanted to get back access to your Mojang account, you must recover your Microsoft account itself.

Just to set your expectation, due to our account safety and security, only us the account owners have the ability to recover our accounts and verify their ownership. Even a Microsoft Support cannot recover our accounts on our behalf because they're protected by the security information we have setup on our accounts which we only have access to.

Since your email address was replaced already, you cannot use your own email address to recover your account. You must know the current email address of your account which must be the hacker’s email address to start the account recovery process. Without it, you cannot start the recovery process because it's the primary key of your account.

I suggest to check again your mailbox (inbox, spam/junk folder) to find traces of the new complete email address that's currently linked to your original account. If the account was added to an Xbox console, it would be best to check it from there too.

In case you know the complete email address, you may try to reset the account password through https://account.live.com/pw
***Make sure to sign out any account signed in to https://account.microsoft.com website before starting an account recovery.

If it doesn’t work, try to fill out the account recovery form on https://account.live.com/acsr

From what you said, I guess there isn't really another solution other than creating a new mojang account and buying minecraft again. Anyways, thank you for your help.

Basically when I migrated my Mojand account to a Microsoft account, my mojand account got lost and was replaced with my microsoft account. All the hard work and 3 years of playtime are on my mojang account. Is there any way to fix this problem or is my account gone.

Did you have two mojang accounts (one with Java and one with Bedrock), or did you have one mojang account (which had Java) and one Microsoft account with Minecraft for Windows, and you migrated this mojang account with Java to the Microsoft account that had Minecraft for Windows?

I ask because you cannot migrate two mojang accounts to only one Microsoft account. So if you had one mojang account with java and one mojang account with bedrock, you migrated them to two different Microsoft accounts.
