    hello i just recently got a code sent to my account cus it was temporary suspended and i go it back but the problem is its not the ganertag i had a d it gave me a whole new account but with the same email

    there isn't anybody else only support and windows live support. all i can suggest is try to remember your email and password.

    If you do not know the email address of your gamertag give support a call. They'll ask you some account specific questions. If you can answer them, they'll give you the email. From there, if you don't know the password you can follow the link posted by
    medium bloke above.

    There is no way that it would be the same email with a different gamertag.

    What you can do is contact xbox support by going to support.xbox.com/contact-us and giving them the gamertag and if they can verify ownership of the account then they can tell you the email associated with that gamertag.

    Windows live have been no help to me, and each time i did the recovery option i provided full details from address to prepaid and credit card information and contact support sent me back to windows live, so now i don't know who to contact :(

    Hi dragon raider79,

    You can recover that with a help from xbox support. they can search your gamer tag and try to send you a security code, once you get the code, and secured your account on their end, they will be able to give you the correct email address used for your gamer
    tag.

    That's really unfortunate and a good example of why you should never give your login info to anyone. Have you tried contacting Yahoo support to open a case with them? It's no guarantee but they may be able to help you.

    As for the gamertag, give phone support a call again and open an Unauthorized Access Ticket. They will lock out the gamertag while they investigate the claim.

    You should also speak to your friend about replacing the value of the content you lost.

    What your saying is that your WLID is linked to 2 accounts? But you can't recover the other account b/c you don't know the password to the old one? You will need to contact support for a password change request, for the account of JR, but in the mean time
    you will need to change the WLID attached to this account.

    Knowing the email address for your account is an important first step to recovery. Check the inboxes of all of your known email addresses for anything related to your gamertag.
