    so what happen was my xbox broke yesterday and i bought a new one, but when i tried to sign into my account it made a entirely new account for me, why?

    is there anyway of getting it back?

    have i lost all my items/progress etc.?

    That's probably just because the email you entered when trying to recover the account wasn't the one associated with your old account. Same thing happened to me a while back. Just try re-adding the account to the console using the correct info and you
    should be good to go!

    It sounds like you used an incorrect e-mail address when you signed into your Xbox One, if you haven't already, try a different Microsoft Account you could have used with your Gamertag.

    It sounds like you used an incorrect e-mail address when you signed into your Xbox One, if you haven't already, try a different Microsoft Account you could have used with your Gamertag.
