Lost modern warfare multiplayer data

I've been playing the new modern warfare online for a while now no issues at all, now I've turned it on to play and the game isn't installed on my Xbox at all and when I have re installed it all my online rank and data is gone, anyone know how I can get
it back I'm sure there is a cloud storage for it, but every time I go into multiplayer it takes me back to stage 1

Try performing a hard reset by pressing the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts off completely. Then unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.

Will a hard reset delete my data? I am having the same issue. I played earlier today and didn’t have an issue. Now it says i need ti redownload the whole game after trying to update the game.

Apparently Activision are having the problem across the board, they are saying leave it till they fix it

That is odd. Your multiplayer ranking is stored on the Activision servers. Maybe you lost your Xbox Live link with your Activision account. Go to
https://callofduty.com and check your account.

And right now Xbox Live is showing a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare outage that may be the problem.
