I'm very sorry to hear that your Minecraft license was not migrated. I also had that kind of problem and I was able to solve it in the following way.

There are some steps you can follow to try to recover it:

Check your purchase history. If you purchased Minecraft through the Microsoft Store, you can check your purchase history to see if there is a record of your purchase.

If you find a record of your purchase, you can try contacting Microsoft support for help recovering your license.

Contact the original seller.

If you purchased Minecraft through a third-party seller, such as a retailer or game store, you can try contacting the original seller for help recovering your license.

Try resetting your Mojang password. If you've forgotten your Mojang password, you can reset it by following the instructions on the Minecraft help page.

Once you've reset your password, you can try logging into your Minecraft account and see if your license has been migrated.

If you have tried all of these steps and still cannot recover your license, you can contact Mojang support. They can help you solve the problem.

We understand that you have migrated your account successfully however after migration, the account use for migration - an existing outlook email does not work. Microsoft accounts offer a single sign-in to other Microsoft services, including Outlook.com, OneDrive, Skype and Xbox. To avoid any privacy or security breach to your data, changes to Microsoft accounts are all automatically handled and validated. We will not be able to manually make any changes and Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously. Let us if the account that holds your game licenses can be recoverable or this will serve as lesson.

An account that does not work could be interpreted as account access issues. Should you forget your password, you can reset it. If you cannot reset it, at least you can verify it. The most crucial part here is securing the account with active secondary email, phone number or generating of codes, because without this security information you, as the account owner, will fail to verify your identity. The inability to verify your identity will fall into account inaccessibility or not working account. There could be other cases such as you are removing the outlook email as alias of your Microsoft account and compromise account. These cases may lead your inaccessibility too.

On the other hand, there is difference in between username and Xbox gamertag. Username is related to Minecraft Java while on the other hand the gamertag is related to Xbox. Tried removing and reinstalling, still doesn't work

Also tried on a new computer, still shows demo

That seems to have fixed it. Am using the Windows 7/8 Java launcher and had it on 2 PC's that I use for playing (one for LAN/desktop and one on my Surface PRO). Reinstalling the launcher didn't fix it but logoff/login fixed on both. Thank you kindly for the help!!!
