Lost Microsoft points, games with gold, digital content why more expensive than disc, xbox one ...

I am actualy really upset. I got a €25 pre-paid card from my wife. I entered the code and it showed me the value. I confirmed it and in believe that my funds are availabel I threw the code away. Next day I wanted to download something but the additional
€25 did not show on my available funds. After spending almost 2 hours with the xbox costumer service they were not willing to resolve the problem because I didi not longer have the code but I still had the receipt from the store I baught it. I am 45 years
old and I don't need to try stealing money from microsoft or claiming something that did not happen but I was made feel that way by the customer service.

Now I am really angry that I baught my wife her own Xbox One. I am with Xbox since the original Xbox and never complained or try to get something but this unacceptable.

How about announcing upcoming games with gold or deals with gold a week or two prior. My wife baught Rayman legends this week for €30 and a day later it was half price.

Why do digital copies cost €69 but in the store you get the disc incl. packaging cost for €55 or sometimes even cheaper.

Why can't games and add-ons be in alphabetical order like on the 360. Or even better let me costumize the layout of my homescreen completely

Don't get me wrong I love the One and enjoy the games but these are all points that make me wonder why microsoft is not catering to the needs of costumers.

Prices for digital games compared to discs

Can anyone from MS give a reason as to why Digital Games are generally more expensive than the disc version of the same game?? i'm pretty sure digital versions of the games are cutting out the middle man (Game Stores and disc creation) so why are they more
expensive??

 

We all know that microsoft

like's to take it's customers for every peny/cent/mark/frank/ ect that they own. But is there a genuine reason as to why the digital copies of xbox one and 360 games on xbox store are 20% more expensive than there hard disc counterparts. Which with packaging
retail shop mark up are far more expensive to produce than a digital copy made of fresh air.

Alright, I need you to head over to commerce.microsoft.com and sign in to see if the currency is listed there. It should be listed in the lower right corner; there may be a drop down menu.

If it is, is it listed under the same region (country) that you live in and have your gamertag set to? If your gamertag is set for a different region than where you live and purchased the card then you will need to switch it back in order to use the currency.
Also, currency cannot be used from the website but only from the console.

 

Of course I did check my transactions and if the transaction appears on commerce it would have been in my available funds. Unfortunately it's just gone now. I just didn't like the fact that I was questioned und treated like a 16 year old who is trying to
scam microsoft out of €25.

In regards to my other topings I am little supprised that their are no responses.

 

Alright, there's nothing we can do to help with the missing currency but if you check that website you'll be able to see if it was added to your gamertag. Everything that you add to your tag is listed under recent transactions. You pull that up when you
contact phone support and they will have to help you out.

Also, for future reference if an item goes on sale within a day or so after you purchase it give phone support a call and they may be able to help you get some of your money back.

 

I have had the same thing happen to me in the last month. I added $30 a few days back and I saw it confirm so I also threw my cards away, and now I go to use it and the money is not there. I called Customer support and there is nothing they can do unless
I still had the cards. If I wanted this crappy customer support I should have bought a PS4 and at least got hacked and money stolen out of my account.
