Lost hard drive space when I deleted the Destiny beta

I successfully downloaded and began playing the Destiny beta, just played a short while, successfully exited the game. When I went back to play again, the game just kept loading and loading, so I figured the save file must be corrupted. I deleted the game
and went to download it again and noticed that the space on the hard drive hadn't gone back to what it was before downloading Destiny. I decided that maybe it just hadn't refreshed or something and started downloading it again, then decided to check out the
hard drive space issue more and cancelled the download. Then I see that another 5GB of drive space was gone, so I've lost 10GB of storage on my hard drive, and the game isn't installed.

Any ideas as to what I can do to recover that hard drive storage?

Well that's interesting. I deleted the Destiny Beta off my hard drive, rebooted, and now everything is OK.

ok so add one to the tried the steps, and failed. im still a broken xbox-a-holic.

started on the 26th when i stopped playing the destiny beta. all my friends having the same issue also played the beta. not pointing fingers or anything...

it locks up when leaving the dashboard for any reason, though when it kicked to xbox media for a sale i was going to look at it didnt freeze.

ive deleted the destiny beta cleared my cache probably 20 times in the past three days, and even tried taking my hard drive off and playing just on a thumb drive. no luck so far.
