Lost half of my settings options?

I lost my temper so badly with the Asteroid shooting section in Dead Space that I snapped the disc in half.

Now I've learned that instead of raging, turning the console off and having a stiff drink is a better, and cheaper, option.

My son and his friend were playing Rocket League (4:30 eastern time) and they both lost all their Gamer Points. Was this a glitch and will it be fixed?

Hard reset did nothing.

I had my friend check and he see's my gamerscore lower as well.

I did a chat with an expert gamer, after looking into it this was the reply:

No official news as of the moment about the reset of gamerpoints. Please assure your son that he is not the only one experiencing this. It'll sort itself out. Since achievements are kept online it goes
down from time to time. Give it a moment it'll bounce back

Probably a caching issue or a temporary achievement serverm Normally clears up pretty fast. If caching issue then worth trying a hard reset (hold power button down for 10 seconds).
