Lost EVERYTHING

So someone asks me for some gold. Okay, fine, I'll give you some. I join his game, suddenly my queen is a guy, with no hair, no clothes, no weapons,
nothing. Go back to my own world? Nothing. "Thanks for contacting Xbox Support.

For your reference, your service request number is 1422503581 " Oh, good. A number will solve my problem. Totally useless. The Prison DLC was released without any thought. What if you brought your car to me, and I sent it back with two flat tires? You'd
be furious. Well, that's what you guys did to us. "Oh, I thought you had an Xbox One" For $500, no. I'd rather be able to eat, thanks. I had pretty much everything in that game. And now I've lost it. All of it.

The nice part? If you can actually change things, I can even get the weapons some other guy ran off with. You'd have to check what things were like at about 1:45 a.m (for the record, it's about 4 a.m right now) . Feel free to e-mail me, I know you guys can
access that information. I'd like this resolved as soon as possible. I'm very busy and I don't have time to be staying up this late fixing problems that other people didn't think were important enough to deal with.

I dont think starting over helps. I have twice and everytime I come back to play its corrupted. Contracts mode has become my game for now. I hope they fix it soon.

We'd be happy to help troubleshoot, but we could use some more info in regards to the issue that you are experiencing with this game. Are you currently unable to access your in-game content, or are you experiencing an issue with your game save data?

In the meantime, we'd recommend resetting your network and then perform a
power cycle on the console.

 

Both. The contents of the save file are corrupt
(PRISON DLC ) , so the file has been changed and now I can't access nearly anything. I'm
not doing a modem reset, because that'll screw up my tv/internet hookup and I
can't do this "power cycle" because as I already mentioned,
I DON'T HAVE AN XBOX ONE. Here, have a look at these pictures I took. These are
straight out of my game. The Xbox App says that I have 1020/1250 or 82 % of the game totally finished. But that didn't stop it from taking all of my shops away! ........And I owned every shop in Albion. Every gnome gone, every flower found, the final
boss dead, everything. My biggest mistake was downloading that stupid Prison. So take a good hard look at these pictures and tell ME what's wrong here, and better yet, what Microsoft intends on doing to fix it. By the way, the only reason I even have that
weapon is because I was able to re-download it. But now the game won't run if I don't download the
DEFECTIVE Prison DLC. So either fix your defective product, or make it so that I can run my game without it.

 

So what did I lose? Here's the list. Hero weapons have been left out (for obvious reasons) , but it as you can tell by the pictures (4 out of 10 ) , I had some pretty nice weapons to play with.

Money: (personal) 25383054, (treasury) 20017009, along with all of the clothes I owned (I won't list them because it'll take too long) , all of my tattoos (so close to getting all of the Scythe tattoos) and all of the stores I owned (which is all of them)

Yeah, totally getting rid of it all (Traitor's Keep being the first to go) and restarting from the beginning. Actually, I already got a head start on that. On that note, however, what is going to be done about my lost items? Will I be getting an I.O.U from
Microsoft on my stuff (since it's starting to look more and more like I got hacked) , or is it just "well, they're gone now, so that's how they'll stay" ?

In the meantime, were you able to try out the steps that we outlined in the saved game corruption guide? Also, if you go to

manage this game, are you able to see if the DLC content is installed?

 

My account seems fine (aside from people being nasty about the whole ordeal) . The game isn't corrupt and shows no signs of corruption (aside from everything that's missing and all of the weird stuff) . It's currently sitting on a USB stick to
keep it contained (I honestly don't trust the Traitor's Keep DLC, given all of the trouble I've had with it) and I started another game in the meantime (can't keep a good man down) on my main drive.

So here's where it gets weird; it says that I can't run the hacked game without the defective Traitor's Keep DLC. If I delete it, the the USB game won't run. So then I have to re-install defective DLC just to run the USB game. So why don't I just delete
the USB game and move on? Well, computers can track updates and changes made, so I was hoping (albeit reluctantly) that the save files worked the same, since it tracks your progress on the Road to Rule. Or I'm completely wrong about that and all of that info
is gone forever. Understandably, I'm hoping that isn't the case with my Xbox 360.

Speaking of difficult situations, I lent a few of my weapons to someone name Scorpo501 (Avo's Lamentation, Simmon's shotgun and the Sandgoose) so that he could complete an Achievement and he has yet to return them. Was wondering what could be done about
that, if anything. I tried messaging him, but he seems intent on keeping them.

That's the thing; nothing's wrong with my account. It's the game that has all of the problems with it, not to mention the corrupt Traitor's Keep DLC (why can't I play my game without it? ) . I got an e-mail about an error code occurring when I try to download
Fable 3 to my Xbox 360. Guess what? No error codes. None. No downloading, either. I have a disc. A re-used one, but it's still working. I've never downloaded Fable 3; couldn't even tell you how much it would cost. I even re-downloaded most of the weapons or
got them from stores around Albion. As for quests, the only two persistent ones were Reaver's Wheel and the Merc Shooting Range. Every gnome was dead, every flower was collected, and I owned every store. But now I don't. So you've got two item thieves (Scorpo501
and the guy who messaged me, a message that I know you can get) running around with my stuff, and 30 people are doing
nothing about it? I can't even get an answer to my original
question, which was.....can I get my stuff back: Yes or No ? If this is a difficult question (which it doesn't really seem to be) , at least explain to me
why.

 

You know what? Forget it. The question isn't " can
I get my stuff back" , it's " will I get my stuff back? " . And the answer is no. Why? Because even though there are thousands of people playing the game, even if Microsoft put defective DLC on the market, and even if they have hackers
running around taking peoples' stuff, MS won't do anything about it. So why? It's only the
current games that they're interested in. The shiny new releases. I explained what happened, said who was responsible, gave you evidence, and told you where to look. What I got back was a bunch of incoherent information about nothing. Then
I was told to go and talk to the very same people who sent me here, saying that you'd fix everything, because I'm supposedly having problems with my account even though the pictures above and nothing that I told you suggests that anything is wrong with my
account. I got my "gift room" hacked while I was giving out gold. THAT is the problem. That's not supposed to happen; there's supposed to be a "barrier" that just lets you view the weapons, rather than TAKE THE WEAPONS. And judging by the number of views this
topic is getting, I'd say that some people are very interested to know exactly how you steal weapons from someone else. Because unless you want this to be a bigger problem than just one topic, you might want to re-check that coding
for the gift room again.
