Lost email that i need for security code?

Hi, I'm trying to get on an old account I used to play, The email account that I used when I made the xbox account has been locked out. I can not log on to the email, nor is the cell phone number on the account current, I can log onto the Microsoft account
but I can not make any changes on my xbox account which is strange,

Need to disassociate an Email Address From My Gamertag that I Can NO LONGER ACCESS HELP!

it isn't that we don't WANT to help , we love having you play but credentials are very strictly controlled for security issues the email account doesn't need to be active to use the email and password to sign in but DOES need to be real and active if
you need to reset things. you can still try guessing even though you can't get support for lost credentials

Unfortunately, if you do not have access to the email or the phone number associated with that account this may not be possible.

A few things you might try are:

Reaching out to the Domain owner of the email account to see about recovery options of some sort.

Trying the Account recovery system.

Or reaching out to the
chat or phone team to see if they can help you change that alias.

Just to add to the part where you say "but i cant do the second link as it sends a code to s secondry email which i dont usebor cant remember password to" You really should update or change the security proof setup to prevent future problems when you need
to manage or payment option or want to recover your password.

It's my stepsons account as its his email address but for security reason as he's only 9 his older brother put his email down as he's 21 for security which is why I need the security code from him

If I understand correctly, you get a message to enter a code when you're trying to buy a subscription. This means that a security proof is in place and the security code might be sent to a incorrect email address.

To get some explanation on what a proof is it can be setup please use this link:

Just an update to all, can I ask evryone in this, if you lost/forget your password, are you all covered in getting them back with valid security proofs? This is the only issue I havent rulled out yet so please let me know. I have an outdated email adress
on mine that needed changing, and im geussing after waiting thirty days for the update ill get some kind of emailed code to register the new security info. Im just hope that this probation period aint affecting the recovery of xbox profile. Which it shouldnt
