Lost email & Password

Help . . . I had to reset my XBOX One Console and now I cannot sign back into my account as I have forgotten my email address . . I know my gamer tag but not my email address.

Does anyone know how to retrieve my email address please?

Account Email Password lost

I am ignoringcoder. The problem is that I don't have the answer to the security question as I don't remember it for the email password reset. I could fill out a form to customer service but the only information I would be able to supply them is that I know
the emails that are inside the account which only consist of messages from Xbox Live about the account & maybe some spam. I put fake information for protection so I have a vague memory of what it was. I could possibly add a 1 month gold to the account with
a credit card & then include that into the form for the billing information as possible proof that I am the owner of the hotmail account. Is the evidence of me being able to sign into the account as well as knowing the old email associated with the account
not enough? I still have messages from marketing confirming that it is my account on my old email. What should I do?

You will need to contact Xbox customer support and prove to them that the account is yours by whatever verification methods they require.

Hello Aden,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have an issue with an account security. You can try the

lost account solution. If you know the gamertag you can request a call from support. If they cab "verify" the account. They can provide some information on the account.

When you go to Contact Us, follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

Tks for the quick reply, will call in tomorrow. He also tried to create a new account but the system would not let him sign in under any another account.

You will need to be signed into a Microsoft account in order for you to be able to request a call back.

Since you don't have the necessary info to sign into your account, its recommend that you use an alternate account or

create a Microsoft account in order to be able to request a call back.

Once you get in-touch with an agent, you should still be able to request assistance for recovering your account.
