Lost email address

Hello,

My old lap top gave out on me and I can’t remember the Microsoft email address I used for gaming. If I know my Minecraft gamer tag, am I able to find out what email address I used? I do not have an actual Minecraft account. I use the Xbox game pass on my computer but I’ve been unable too figure out what email I used.

I'm afraid knowing the gamertag doesn't help. You'll need to try recovering the account with your phone number or all the emails you remember here https://account.live.com/password/reset

Sorry to hear it. What you can do is give phone support a call. So long as you can answer some account specific questions they can give you the email associated with it.

Sorry but if there was no email address attached to the account and you've deleted it or lost it there is no way to recover it. However, what you can do is create a new email address and account for her. Keep the details of the account handy so that if
it is lost again in the future you can easily recover it.

Sometimes you can verify your account using another email address or a mobile number that you recieve a text to. If the email address is lost then try asking the recovery team to change your verification method to a different address or number and to use
a different email address instead of the old one.
