Lost Billing Record of Prior Game Purchase

Hi All - I bought the 360 arcade game Darwinia+ in late 2010. It became backwards compatible for XB1 yesterday. I tried to install it but it doesn’t show that I own it. I’ve called Xbox support multiple times already but Microsoft has lost all record of my purchase of this game.

It does not show up in my Microsoft purchase history. The website does not show any of my purchases prior to May 2011. It is an arcade title - no disc. And I am using the exact same account - I have never had another account. I do not share accounts. And I have achievements. There is no way I could have gotten those without owning the game.

But Xbox support cannot find that I ever purchased this game, even though I know I did. Is there anything else I can do?

Note: I have already tried resetting my console and redownloading my profile. And calling Xbox seems to have no effect since they can not find this purchase in their system.

You can earn achievements without owning a game.

The only other place to check would be on a 360 console where you could see your download history.

Upon further investigation it appears that Microsoft has lost all record of the purchase.

For purchases prior to 2012, please contact sales support directly to be investigated, at this time the our billing systems merged and some items may not appear on your purchase history.

My account does not have insufficient funds, my ms billing is in good standing, billing addresses are accurate, card can accept online purchases/automatc billing because it's been done before.

The only thing i havent checked is if my card provider is blocking the purchase, but i dont see why because I've made many purchases through paypal prior to this, and many purchases to microsoft through my card prior to this.

You'll have to purchase a capture card that will be very expensive. lost do them are meant for watching or recording TV, not gaming
