    Lost Battle Pass Characters After Changing Game Pass Account (Call of Duty - PC)

    purchased the full Battle Pass for Season 1 in Call of Duty on PC via Game Pass. I unlocked all characters including Adler, Park, Brutus, and Klaus.



    Later, I switched to a different Game Pass account. After that, I lost some of the early unlocked Battle Pass characters, although the final character from the pass is still available.



    I contacted Activision Support many times (Case ID: 40437707), but they closed my ticket without resolving the issue. I'm not requesting a refund — I just want access to the characters I already paid for.



    Since this happened after changing Game Pass accounts, I’d like to know:



    • Can this issue be escalated to Activision through Microsoft’s support?
    • Is there any way to link or recover my content from the previous account?

    I have the receipt and screenshots to prove the purchase.

    Please know that this is a public forum, and I am not in a position to enter your account, examine it, or make any changes from within. Like you, I am a regular user who likes to help.

    I'm sorry this happened. Based on what you described, it sounds like your Battle Pass content was tied to the original Xbox Game Pass/Microsoft account that made the purchase. When you switched to a new Game Pass account, that purchase history (and its linked content) didn’t carry over.

    Unfortunately:

    Microsoft can't escalate this kind of case to Activision — they consider in-game content, progression, and inventory (like operators or passes) as entirely managed by the game publisher.

    There is currently no way to link or merge Call of Duty content between two different Microsoft accounts, even if both have Game Pass. All Battle Pass content stays locked to the account that originally claimed and progressed it.

    If you’re still able to log in to the old Game Pass account, that’s the only place you’ll see your Season 1 characters.

    I would have thought so...Battle Pass progress is cross-platform:

    Yes. Battle Pass progress and rewards you unlock are tied to your Activision account. Therefore, Battle Pass progress and rewards will be available on all platforms as long as you play on the same linked Activision account where you originally earned the progress and rewards.

    Please note: Call of Duty Points you earn through the Battle Pass can only be spent on the platform you are playing on when you unlock the Call of Duty Points."
