    Lost Assassin's Creed: Origins save file


    Hey guys,

    Last night I was playing AC:O (I think while some Live features were down). While it was saving the power cord came loose and my Xbox turned off. I restarted and couldn't find my save file. I attributed it to the servers been doing and figured it would be back
    in the morning. Alas, it's not.

    Is there any way to rectify this? It seems as though there is no AC:O save file in the cloud, though I can see an internal save file of around 100KB. I can't access this though, even when I load the game offline.

    Any tips?

    Have you tired checking the actual game in the Xbox games and apps section to see if the save is on the Xbox itself?

    Good Evening,

    I would appreciate any help available.

    I turned my Xbox One on tonight and when I loaded Assassin's Creed Syndicate it displayed a message saying it couldn't find my cloud save file and then restarted. It then loaded a brand new game and I can't get back to my previous save file.

    I have numerous achievements from the game and my Xbox shows I was about 17 hours into the game.

    Can anyone help advise how I get back to my old file?

    The game "menu" (there isn't one) is useless and thus you can't choose a file it automatically selects it for you.

    Hi there! This is Virginia O.

    I understand that you are experiencing issues launching Assassin’s Creed Origins on PC.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please disable FXAA in NVIDIA Control Panel. To do this, open NVIDIA Control Panel > Go to Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings. Select Assassin’s Creed Origins and disable FXAA (Fast Approximate Anti-Aliasing).

    And then run the Game in Windowed mode by navigating to the ACO.ini file (usually found in Documents\Assassin’s Creed Origins).

    Open it with Notepad and change:

    Fullscreen=0

    WindowMode=1

    Save the file and restart your PC.

    Next is to check Ubisoft connect settings. Open Ubisoft Connect > Go to Settings > Disable Overlay and Cloud Sync.

    Then verify game files via Ubisoft connect. Do this by opening Ubisoft Connect > Go to Games > Select Assassin’s Creed Origins > Click Properties > Choose Verify Files.

    After that is to run the game in compatibility mode. Right-click the game’s .exe file > Properties > Compatibility Enable Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 8.

    Kindly check background processes. Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) and end unnecessary tasks that can interfere with the game

    Well, The website said that, If you are grabbing a save file, You need to be offline.. Which I follow but wasn't expecting it would unlock the achievement in Assassin's Creed 3.. I should had known better.. Especially, Assassin's Creed 3 wasn't complete
