I'm sorry to hear that the game is not opening properly. I would recommend restarting your computer with a

clean boot and then after it restarts I would recommend re-installing the game as this is generally a troubleshooting step you should attempt if the game is closing after you try to launch it.

Hi, go to games and apps, then go to the top right(the down arrow).

It shows you the progress of the download/installation.

If it's paused, just click on it and resume it. If it isn't in the queue nor your games and apps, you might need to restart the download.

Assuming you have a DX12 compatible video card I would double check windows update and your video drivers to make sure everything is current.

You can also go into the Windows APP store, click on your Gamertag Icon on the top right hand side of the screen go to downloads and updates then click on check for updates.

The Xbox (Beta) app recently got updated out of Beta. Try going to the Microsoft Store app to download Minecraft and while you're there, click on the top right icon (the one with the Down Arrow) or the "..." and click on "Downloads and Updates".

Also, the Xbox (Beta) app currently only shows Game Pass games. Minecraft PC unfortunately is not on Game Pass.
