Lost all game stats!

Ok, So Ive had my name as NavelOrangesYT as my gamertag and I didnt like it, so I went over on the console companion, Changed my gamertag to CallMePepe8556 (xbox added the 8556) And when I logged onto sea of thieves, all of my stuff was gone! My friends
checked and they still had NavelOrangesYT friended, so maybe CallMePepe just took my email from NavelOranges, idk. But now all of my stuff is gone, and with no seeable way of adding an email to an account I cannot get into, all hope seems lost. I need help!

I also lost stats. I lost all my campaign stats and collectable. Had to play the campaign all over again.

wow, 150K lost!! Oh man, I would be pissed!! LOL, but you know, i've died so much in this game, I'm kinda desensitized to the whole thing. Even when I lost all those souls last night and even though I felt cheated that the bloodstain wasnt' there like
it should have been.

It would be fun to see a stat tracking of lost souls. Maybe even a leaderboard, to see who's lost the most souls. Or maybe a stat for lost souls as a ratio of hours played to see who is really good!

I had all my campaign stats, cog tags, all stars on all levels, declassified missions, reset after each of the last two updates. My wife lost half of what I lost.
