Lost all data

If you reset, not keeping games and apps, all you need to do is sign back into the Xbox with the same account details you used before. All your games and apps will be in the ready to install section of "my games and apps" and your friends list will automatically
be back.

when factory resetting your xbox this will happen as it makes it like when you first bought it, nothing is lost you will just need to add your profile once more then re download your games from the ready to install list.

I am pretty sure if you have a cloud save available, the first time you load up Overwatch on the Xbox One, it will sync data.

I would say before you load up Overwatch, do the following:

1. Remove your profile from the console

2. Power cycle/ reset your console

3. Add your profile and sign in.

No it just loads a level 1 profile, as if it was my first time playing the game.

Is it possible it somehow "replaced" my old save file at some point? According to Blizzard your battle.net account has nothing to do with your save data, so I don't understand what possibly could have caused this. I have not manually deleted anything either.

Man that's no good! Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this.

Honestly it just sounds like the USB has lost it's formatting. Not sure why this would happen, but that is always a possibility with electronic storage devices.

I would suggest maybe using a different USB, and utilizing the 'Cloud' save feature.
