Lost all data in Killer Instinct.

Hi,

I was directed to this forum by support in hopes that someone can help me restore my data from a few days ago. They informed me to include the case number 1242109694.

I turned on my game yesterday and all my data was reset back to zero. All costumes were lost and locked again, all KP points, all stats and fight titles were at zero. The only thing that remained were my achievements.

Is there a way to restore the data?

Killer Instinct - Lost all Data

So...I logged into a friends Xbox one, and apparently because of it, I lost all of my data. My ranking data, all my KI points, everything I've purchased in the game with KI points...needless to say this is really annoying as it pretty much reset my game
completely.

@mistio do you boot ki up while patches are downloading?

 

Same problem Here, lost my data after a single player match; Wmistio did you got any support from MS yet?

 

@ blyueeyedtasha87 - no, I did not turn off the system or game during a patch download or install.

@ S1ck Bubbl3gun - nope. MS couldn't do anything. They told me to delete my profile and then sign in again. That didn't work. They then advised I come to this forum for help.

 

Same exact thing happened to me. I guess I'm just going to have to get ALL MY UNLOCKED CONTENT again. I might not even bother with it, that was hours upon hours of work.

 

Same here. I talked to Mike and he said there was a fix in the works that would get our stuff back. But now that Double Helix no longer does anything with the game, are we not getting the fix? I'm sure a lot of people are pretty upset about having put so
many hours into the game for nothing. I know I am.

 

I didn't mean turn of hun I meant as in when it said "ready to play" did you press it while it was still downloading. I only ask because I believe everyone who lost save data did this.

 

I have lost my data twice. Unfortunately you cannot get it back if you have went past the menu screen.

If you haven't turned the game on witch is less the 1% all it takes is a herd reset. Unplug your Xbox One for 30 seconds and it comes back.

If you have played the game even for a second you have to start over.

I was a 12 and 16 the first time 10 and 10 the second time

Today I'm 12 and 2 and won't play online until I know it's safe
