    Lost account access


    Hi, I set up 2 accounts, for my son and myself, using the iPad and Switch versions of Minecraft. I forget which email I used to set up his account, but I purchased a realm subscription on his account while we were still able to use it. I thought that the email associated with his realm subscription should be associated with his account, but that email signs me into my account (and I don't control the realm, even with the email that is being billed for the subscription).

    I can sign into my account, but we can't sign into my son's. I'm not sure which email it could be. I know his user name. Can I use his user name to have an email sent to the right account somehow? I really don't want to lose the world he's built. Hopefully there is something we can do.

    You can't

    If you lost access to your account you have to call support or fill out the lost access to my account form at accounts.Microsoft.com

    Hi Michael,

    "6. Enter the password for the Microsoft account that is currently associated with your gamertag and select Sign in."

    I cannot proceed past this step, as I don't have the password to the Microsoft account associated with my gamertag.

    yeah, no customer service here.phone call back doesn't work, chat doesn't work, cant actually get any help from this company. Going to cancel the new Modern Warfare prepay and see if PS 4 has a better interaction with paying customers.
