if you cannot access your microsoft account and have 2fa active then they are right all is lost, and as the microsoft account is the account that minecraft migrated too you have now lost minecraft if you cannot access the microsoft account.

I'm afraid there is not way to link or merge two (or more) Xbox Live Accounts in to 1 account.

You will have to get access to that original Microsoft Account to get access to that Xbox Live Account, maybe the steps or links on this page will be able to regain access to that MS account:

That link will have all options on how to try and get access again to the account up to contacting Xbox Support.

Is there a reason you cannot access your emails?

When I attempted it, it says the account does not exist. So then I reached out to Mojang support to find out if they show it going to a different account (hacked) than what I had already set, and they said they cannot tell me, despite my verifying that I am the owner of the account.
