Lost access to my account years ago

I'm sorry to hear that you lost access to your account. In such cases, the only thing you can do is submit a recovery form. If you can still perform actions with your email, you can fill out the recovery form and the responsible team will help you recover your account.

This is SO cool!! Sadly I lost access to my original xbox account from the early 2010s and made a new one a few years ago so my profile isn’t totally accurate but this is absolutely awesome!

Checking that Xbox Family link has reaffirmed the same issue I have had for several years. My account is still considered a child account as it is linked to my father’s Xbox 360 era account.

He lost access to the email attached to the parent account and lost the password years ago. He has also unfortunately since passed away.

As a result, I am unable to access his account and remove my child account status. Is there any other route I can go down in solving this issue?

I lost access to my original gamertag Pilsbury847 years ago, but got that one in 2004. My current tag () I've had for 8 years. I do wish I still had access to that original account, unfortunately I made it as a kid and used a friend's email address
to register it. No idea on what the email or password was. RIP in peace mydude.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. In regards to this issue with the lost account, unfortunately, due to the primary email being removed from the account the account cannot be recovered.
If you have already tried logging in with the primary email and it does not let you because the email no longer exists then there isn't any way to recover the account. Once the primary email is removed the account is no longer able to be accessed
or logged into.

I understand that this is not the verdict or resolution you were looking for, however, at this time since there are no other resolutions for this issue we will be locking this thread. If you have any other questions or concerns please feel
