    Hi i have 2 microsoft accounts. One i had for many years that i used for xbox and a newer one i use for everything now. I was wondering if there is anyway you can help me merge the 2 accounts together so i dont lose all the things tied to my original account. Gamerscore, purchases, dlcs etc. I understand its not something i can do but i was hoping you might have the power to do such a thing so i dont lose many years worth of things because i had to get a new email address

    Unfortunately transfering or merging data from one account to another is impossible :(

    You could always create another email address to put the redundant xbox profile on to free up the email address you want to use.

    It's been a few years, but I had an issue with an EA game due to already having an OLD email address tied to my Xbox Gamertag and I had to contact EA Support chat since I couldn't access that email address anymore... I don't even know if that is helpful,
    but thought it might give you an idea or something... maybe that email address that is not yours is an old address?

    Doubt any of that helps, but wanted to post just-in-case.

    That's right NAFFRY, xbox support has confirmed this. On recovering my account, which i shouldn't have been able to do since they said they had locked it. Now i can't change my windows id password on my pc cos they want to send a reset to my old redundant
    email address. Can i change the password on my xbox thus avoiding this issue with my old email address?
