Losing sound when skipping PVR content

I get it. I have a bell TV satellite receiver. Same as the dish ones with different stickers. My wife likes with the Xbox when you skip 30s or back the sound comes back instantly using my denon avr791. Whereas direct from PVR to same input there is
a 5s delay on sound coming back.

If Microsoft would fix the no TV on standby issue ( when waking from standby) we would be happy. For now its a cold boot every time we want to watch TV from standby state. Grrrrrr. Don't they test these things?

the sound skipping is only in the menu tho, its not a major problem. Its only the little sound it does when you browse throu every little program icons that seems to skip some times

Can you guys clarify 1 thing for me, because I feel like there's 2 issues. Are you seeing?

1) When playing back recorded content through the Xbox One, it skips (and it doesn't skip for live content). Basically: playback is messed up.

2) When the STB is passed through the Xbox One, playing back that recorded content skips, even if connected directly to the TV. Basically: recording is messed up.

HDMI splitters usually take one input source and switch them 1 other output on the switch. it usually cannot split 1 input HDMI source into 4+ other output HDMI sources unless its amplified. but what your asking, its sounds about right. When your NOT using
your HD PVR, you would switch the splitter to the output your TV is on and when you wanted to use the HD PVR, you would switch the splitter to the HD PVR which is already connected to the HDTV and you would be set.

Only thing is they are a bit pricey and you would need like 2 more HDMI cables.

There have been enough people with the same problem this needs to be resolved. I have same issue on destiny nothing worse (game wise not talking about life) than being in end game content and lose audio. When its working it sounds great.
