In the moment you convert your membership to ultimate your gold membership is included in that conversion, so if you cancel your ultimate membership you terminate your gold membership as well. In that case you should purchase xbox gold membership again.

You get Game Pass Ultimate for the length of the Xbox Live you had left plus 1 month for $1. All you have to do is turn off auto renew, cancel at the end, then switch back to just Xbox Live gold if you don't really use it.

You should check your account before cancelling services. It shows the expiration dates on all your subscriptions.

When taking up ANY offer, please make sure to read the small print, before making a decision. It is clearly stated that if you cancel your upgraded subscription, that you will be unable to recover any previously converted Gold time.

"All conversions to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate are final: Once converted, you cannot re-convert your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership back to a previous membership. "

They probably are using your mac id and see it was already downloaded on one mac id under that account and doesnt allow another one to download. That would be my guess? They have the $1 trial back for game pass ult. Go to costco and purchase the 2 year
for $100 for xbox gold and purchase the $1 free trial. When I did that it gave me xbox game pass ult for $1 for my over 2 years of xbox live gold. Totally worth it.

In regards to the play anywhere portion. I'm a game pass ult sub, if I buy the premium edition upgrade on XSX, will that purchase carry over to PC game pass?
