losing ammo when switching guns

Discus and support losing ammo when switching guns in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; If I'm on a strike or raid and I'm equipped with a solar snipper, with a full clip, and knock out some wizards and then switch to a arc based fusion...     losing ammo when switching guns


    If I'm on a strike or raid and I'm equipped with a solar snipper, with a full clip, and knock out some wizards and then switch to a arc based fusion rifle to get a few captains I lose almost the entire clip. Is this some type of penalty for changing your
    load out to adapt to the enemies?

    i will b back on tomorrow at say 6pm eastern time. when we have a full party and find a whole bunch of enemies that make us waste our ammo u decide. either get a new gun from the store, buy and waste money on ammo, or get ammo for free with out having to
    spend money and losing ur favorite weapons

    **** - Sight Specs

    I prefer Lightweight in slot 1, ideal for dogtagging and flanking. Normally I use Magnum ammo in slot 2, I feel I'm on losing side of gun battles too often when I use something else. Don't see the point of extra ammo/grenades for Assault and I normally only
    play with friends so I can get as much ammo as I need for the other classes.

    During the entire time I played, I never switched ammo types on my machine gun. I did on my sniper though.

    Buying the guns is buying ammo. If you already have the gun, it's ammo you purchase.
