    Losiing save data (Game pass PC)


    So I was playing MechWarrior5 on PC for about 30 hours and then suddenly all my save games are lost.

    I searched the game folder and there was no save data, tried signing out, reinstalling Xbox App and reinstalling the game but can restore my saved games.

    I couldn't get much support from contacting Microsoft so I'm posting here.

    Thanks for the response.

    I saved the game from the game menu manually and closed the game from game menu also. So it had no issue on my last play.

    Turned on my PC later and found no save data.

    Hi,

    Did you turn off the game or your PC when the game auto save icon was showing? what about any crashes?

    that's a new game and it's probably using cloud save..

    I new i had to restore it to factory default but i just didnt know how to without using my xbox!

    Is there a way to get my PC Game Pass save data from the cloud?

    1. I am using PC Game Pass on my gaming computer.

    2. Yes, I played the game in February when I had game pass, and now I no longer have game pass.

    3. Yes, I didn’t wanna pay $10 and have to download 80GB of content for a few megabytes of save data.

    It’s unfortunate that my save data was removed from my computer just because I deleted the game. I still wanted the save data.
