Looking To Start a Friend Group for Raids and High Level Co-op

Hey guys and gals. I've been doing some research on the Raid that will be released next week and am thinking it looks like it will be a blast to play, but very, very difficult, and can take close to 3 hours to complete. The rewards for completing them are
bragging rights to beating a very challenging raid and some high level rare loot.

Bungie is claiming that in order to do these Raids you'll need a team of 6 players that are friends (there will be no matchmaking option for Raids) that are at least level 20, but preferably higher... more realistically level 25-ish. Teamwork is a must,
as this doesn't look to just be point and shoot and tear through waves of enemies type missions. The players also need to be adequately equipped with high level gear.

As it stands I don't have many personal friends that own Destiny for the 360. Here's what I propose. We need to form a casual group of about 6-12 friends that are committed to playing with each other when ever possible. If you see a friend log on to Destiny,
shoot them an invite if you have space on your fire team. We likely will need to try to have a balance of Warlocks, Titans and Hunters with different sub-classes so that a blend of abilities can be used to help the group (Ward of Dawn, Fist of Havoc, Gunslinger,
Nova Bomb, etc).

Higher level friends need to be committed to helping lower level friends rank up and get better gear. Joining this group is about helping each other progress in the game and get better so that ultimately
we can complete Raids. A strong, well equipped team is essential. This will require you to do lower level campaign and strike missions quite a bit to help your buddies. And the more time we spend playing together the more accustomed we'll be to each others
play style and personalities, which will help coordinate Raids better.

If you don't want in on this group, then please don't post.

It should also go without saying that respect and courtesy to each other is a must.
We're likely to die a lot trying to figure Raids out. Try and have patience with each other. Remember it's just a game and to have fun with it.

Also, mics are essential. Raids will require it. As it stands I do not have one, but ordered one online that will be here within about 5 days. So it's cool if you don't have one now, but you really need
to have plans to get one soon.

I was ditched by my buddies and need a raid group for vault of glass. Preferably warlocks and hunters of high levels. I am a Level 32 defender Titan. I will start a party to communicatet. I am . Thanks for the help.

 

Looking for a mature Destiny Clan (X1)

I'm a level 20 hunter that plays almost everyday. I'm mainly looking for a mature clan that likes to do co-op missions/strikes/raids, but I'll also do crucible if necessary.

 

I'm in a similar situation, with not many friends that own Destiny.

I formed a clan almost instantly (using the same name as my old WOW Guild - Diminishing Returns), but due to the lack of in-game communication/broadcasting, it makes Clan recruitment almost impossible.

And don't get me started on the Bungie forums, what a mess; everything is # without any organised threaded forums.

Anyhow, if you get a group going and fancy having Diminishing Returns under your Gamertag and in-game rewards associated with Clan membership; just search on the Bungie forum and join up. If however you already have a name/vision in mind, then please disregard

I would be up for something like this. Currently only playing with one friend and we just use skype while we play, but i could look into getting a mic

lvl 20 hunter looking to grind for gear as mine is crap. i really need to grind for better gear before i can kill things effectively.

@ IxAMxSNIPERFROG, hey buddy, firstly, a very constructive post [hats off;] personally I'm extremely looking forward to this "Raid" event [16th] and would perhaps be very interested in "jumping" in to both help low level fellow gamers' and perhaps do a few
runs in the up-and-coming event, but... [yeap, there's always a but] I unfortunately have no mic, my grandson decided to use it as a zip line for his action figures, but will be picking one up at some point, when I honestly can't say as bills come first[ I
know they are a pain]

At the moment I'm about to hit level 24, running as a Titan and with all "Rare" items and grinding the Strike Playlist in the hope off getting a few coins [well you know the score] if you have a spot on your fire-team I would be honored, but as I mentioned
about not having a mic and comms are / will be important, but... hey IxAMxSNIPERFROG no hard feelings if there's no room or the lack off a mic is preventing my participation, but more likely too see you online at some point, until then buddy... "Good Luck
