We appreciate your coming to the Xbox community, and we're sorry you're having this issue. I see you have tried things that would normally fix the issue, so I will suggest you try resetting your console to factory defaults to see if the issue is resolved.

To reset your console to factory defaults.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

- Select the option to keep your games and apps so that they are not deleted, make sure you know your email and password as they will be removed from the console and you will need to add them again.

this used to happen to me , you have an incompatible NAT with your freinds , the problem is at your freinds end tell them to get a better connection , also can you give me info on wether you can join a party with only the one freind inside it , becuase
if there is multiple freinds then that will alow them to connect even if they are not host

maybe u will run into him ask often to people u dont know if they might have played with him or r freinds with them hope this helps i lost my first freind havent stoped looking for him ; ( good luck hit me up if u want will try and help i bet
