Looking for the best screen for an X Box One S

Hey everyone

I'm looking for a new screen to go with the Xbox I just ordered. I've currently got a Samsung Syncmaster 2232 and it's the right size for a desktop, but I'm using a VGA > HDMI converter which just isn't doing me any favours.

I've got a budget of like R3500 (around $254) and my desk is pretty small, so nothing too large.

As a second question, is it worth getting a 4K screen, or is 2K fine?

I'm not even looking for a specific screen recommendation, just looking for what specs is best for what I'm looking to do with it.

I personally use a Samsung 4k tv currently with my Xbox one x previously had an s and honesty I'd go with a 4k because what they don't tell you is that your tv will upscale it to 4k automatically

Let me ask, why do you play the games for?

If you enjoy the history, and gameplay, then the beatifullnes of the surroundings are just a decoration.

Yeah, the RDR2 light effects are impressive, but do you have an Xbox One X to really enjoy them?

That´s the other side of the cookie, the only time I would recommend to buy a 4K monitor is if you have the Xbox One X and you are going to play the Enhanced games. Otherwise, a 2K should be enough.

My recommendation would be: Don´t waste too much in a 70Hz display if you don´t have a One X. Get a second hand PC 22" monitor, use your HDMI to VGA adapter and use the extra budget in some juice new games, or a pair of good headphones.

This is just an opinion, but I hope it could help you.
