Newbie help on Xbox

Evening all. What are the best games on the Xbox one to play at the moment never owned a Xbox so looking at maybe playing some old titles.

coming back to XBL

so as the title states im coming back to XBL. after not playing for quite awhile an my friends list is basically nothing im looking for people that like games in general not just a COD type an only a COD player or anything im talking older games arcade
games just friends in general that like to talk about anythign an have a good time doing it so with that said not very in depth i know was wondering if anyone wants to play some gears 3 on the 3rd when i get my 360 might pick another game up also just looking
for some good friends to play ome coop with/multiplayer

If you had Mass Effect 3, I would totally be down to play with you some time. Gotta love the classic DOOM games you play though I grew up on those!

I have DOOM and Contra and Super Contra and NBA Jam on fire edition. So far DOOM and NBA Jam are backward compatible cause I don't have my 360 with me its in the storage bin. Mainly use XBOX1 now. So its a waiting game for backward compatibility game
releases.

you might not be able to play Xbox 360 games online that are on the backwards compatibly list because the multiplayer is shut down on most but not all but I think that dead space 3 is one of the titles where multiplayer is shut down.
I know that call of duity black ops one and two still support multiplayer to some degree. But not all game modes work.

I recommend you keep your Xbox 360 and get the Xbox One because you will not be able to download your old games for free it for free but you can still use the 360. If they do have downloads available for the old titles it may not be the same as playing it
on the 360. Fear not the main titles like Call Of Duty and Halo should have Live access despite the fact the systems change. Original Xbox games look slow when you play them on Xbox 360 so I would expect it to appear the same for the new system as well. So
keep the Xbox 360 even if you get the new one.
