Long installation

why after 6 1/2 hours is this game still only installed at 90%???? Have gone through all the troubleshooting. Any ideas????

Titanfall won't install

your problems could be with incomplete installation game.

I've faced the same problem, and I found out that when the game installing taking long long long long time, I left it till it's done by it self. so I found my console off later. I resumed the game installation and its all OK now.

HALO INSTALLATION!!!!!!!!!!! TOO LONG

Haha. I feel ya but just chill old chap.

I pre-ordered two weeks ago so I could pre-install and avoid the pain.

Midnight last comes along. Press ye olde button - Halo Master Chief Collection needs a 15 GB update!

I felt a twinge of anger but subdued it as quickly as possible. I think this is pretty much going to be the norm on the next gen stuff and needs to be accepted for what it is. Games are only going to get bigger over the next few years. PS4 is just as bad
and as much as Ive read MS are hoping to do something about it I doubt they can cut install times by a massive amount.

Generally, when you install a game on Xbox One, you're also downloading and installing any and all patches or updates to the game as well. So your internet connection can make these installs take longer, if you'd like to and you're using a disc to install
the game. Take your console offline, by disconnecting from the Internet before you install the game and you can download the updates after. This can cause the installation times to speed up.

Install times depend on your, connection speed, internet traffic, wired/wireless ect..Its not great but that's technology for you.

I would suggest buying the disc...they are better in my opinion.

My suggestion? Make sure that you are disconnected not only from the Ethernet cord, but also make sure you are disconnected from wireless while installing the game. If they are still taking too long, clear the persistent storage, and perform a hard reset.
I would guess that there could be corrupted data causing the extremely long install times. Hope this helps

Are you on dial up?

If you mean that you have 5-6 megabits of speed, ok that was fast 10 years ago. In 2014 you should have something a bit better, otherwise you need to expect to wait a LONG time to download 40gigs of data. I live in the middle of nowhere and I have 50 megabit
symmetrical fibre at work and 30 down 5 up at home.

EDIT - ookla the company that runs speedtest.net says AVERAGE download speed in Canada is 16.6megabit btw.
