Long hold Xbox(Guide) button vibration

Hello again, follow the procedures below.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Settings.

Select All Settings.

Under Kinect & devices, select Devices & accessories and then once the controller image is on your TV screen, press and hold the pairing button on your Xbox controller as long as you can, When the controller image is on your TV screen, press and hold the pairing button on the Xbox controller as long as you can, it will vibrate twice and unlink from the console and turn off.

If you have not yet solved your problem you can try this if you haven't already. If your controller is off, power it up with the big Xbox button. Once the controller is linked hold down the xbox guide button until your controller vibrates. Once you have
felt the vibration, press the start button then take you batteries/battery pack out of the controller and give it about 5 minutes and the green screen will go away for good and will never take as long to start up again.

Try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down.

If the problem persists then hold the Guide button on the controller until it vibrates and submit a report about the issue.

The slight vibration to notify when you hold down the guide button is a nice touch.. It's funny how the little things like that make a difference. I'm just waiting for the Friends tab to show up.

To turn off Controller vibration:



-Press the Guide Button (The Big silver shiny button in the middle of the controller that looks like the Xbox logo)

-Press Right on the D-pad until you get to the 'Settings' menu.

-Then go down and select 'Preferences' on the Settings menu.

-Go down and select 'Vibration' on the Preferences menu.

-Uncheck the box for 'Enable Vibration



That's it!

Seems the confusion may be in the 'X' button reference... The Guide Button is seperate from the 'X' button. =)
