    Logitech f710 gamepad problem.


    After getting a new SSD for my computer I have been having trouble with getting my gamepad to work. The gamepad is working properly and the batteries are full, however when I plug the USB in it says "Setting up device" and then "Device is ready". Something does show up on Bluetooth and other devices on settings as "Logitech Unifying Receiver" but I think it's the USB. Also on Device Manager there is a "Logitech USB Input Device" but I'm pretty sure that's also the USB. In Control Panel it's the same issue. The controller is not responding whatsoever.

    If someone could help would be appreciated.

    This fixed it for me today (12/21/21).

    From the Steam forum:

    Open Device Manager, right click on your unknown F710 device, Update Driver, "Browse my computer, "Let me select from a list", find Xbox 360 Controllers on the list, and select "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" and then "Use driver anyway" if you get a warning

    Unfortunately using the "Connect Utility" didn't work.

    And I can't update my drivers as the controller doesn't show up on my computer. Just as if i had plugged a random USB in without it being linked to any device.

    Nice, this works with my laptop. Just reformat my laptop with windows 11. Dont know why it doesnt automatically detect. Works pretty well before this(on windows 11 too)
