    Logging out and removing an Xbox account remotely


    I need help with this. I’ve logged into an Xbox from a club. But now I don’t have access to it as I probably won’t be going back in a while, so I want to remove it and log out of it remotely. The ring is how do I do that? I’ve tried to remove it from my devices but since it’s logged in already it doesn’t seem to work. Help please because someone just bought 2k vbucks worth of items on my fortnite account

    It is not possible to remove your account remotely but if you change the account password whoever tries to log back into the account will have to enter the new password to gain access to the account.

    Hi there,

    There is currently not a way to remove an account remotely. You can change the password on your account and the system will ask for it the next time it is logged in. Without the password the account cannot log in.

    You would have to go to that console and remove your account from it. You can't do it remotely.
    Shouldn't changing the account password not automatically log you out of the other console? Or at least, in theory? Given that the credentials on the other console would now be wrong?

    We do not have an option to remotely remove or sign out your account from another device but what I can recommend is to change your account password. This will immediately log out to anyone who is currently using your account on another device, and they will not be able to log in again unless they know the new password.

    You cannot remove your account from an Xbox remotely so you need to change the password on the account. That will render the account unusable on the remote machine.
