Sorry I don't think I explained properly, when I logged in with the linked microsoft account to my old minecraft account, it then created a new account along with an xbox live account.

I am having the same issue.

Logged into the new Xbox with my email + password, which went through fine. But it created a new user account instead of showing my old account. This is preventing me from connecting my Xbox account to my Ubisoft account since it goes by the username and not the email.

How do I get my original username back?

I am logging into Minecraft Java Edition with the Microsoft account that I migrated my Mojang account to, and instead of being a full/paid version of Minecraft, it is only offering me to play the Minecraft "demo" version.
