Log out of Xbox live on switch

I had changed my gamertag on xbox live and when i went back to playing ori and the blind forest on switch my old gamertag was still there. How do i get the new name to appear? I tried deleting and redownloading but the old name was still there? Can i log out somehow?

I just got it (live in uk)

I switched my area to US and then logged out, then it was on the dashboard so I clicked it and then I logged back in and then downloaded

Close all games that connect to Xbox LIVE. Log out of your current account from Charm Bar -> Settings -> Change PC Settings -> Users -> Switch to a local account. Then log back into your account the same way, or run the game and log in when it prompts you.

Because people who run out of switches often are illicitly game sharing with their friends, which is a violation of TOS and can lead to account and console bans

You can play your games when logged into Xbox live until they reset

My Black Ops 2 would not work either i tried it on my account with Xbox Live it froze when i got to the multiplayer screen what i did was i used my account without Xbox Live it worked fine so i went to zombies or multiplayer screen and when i was at that
screen i logged that account out and logged in my Xbox Live account and it worked but when i tried to switch from multiplaer to zombies it froze again so i tried it again and it worked so u have to do this each time its happend to me and my friend and this
got it to work until you switch game modes.
