    I am not the first person I see having problems with Destiny 2, I believe it is a momentary problem, I hope it comes back soon, good luck!

    i am yet to see this fabled error, my kids have never had it and neither have my friends. on xbox or pc or ps4. i see you poseted earlier and stated if you use an alternate account it works ok. have you tried removing the local save file or re install
    destiny 2.

    Unable to play.

    Log into Destiny 2, press A, select character, black screen for aprox 2 minutes, then watercress error.
    Logged in on multiple XB on same network, same issue.
    Logged in on alt account on same XB on same network as above, NO ISSUE!
    Logged in on XB on opposite sides of the continent, same black screen and error.
    Logged in on same XB as above on alt account, no issue.
    New install on one of the xboxes.
    Ive tried, wireless, wired, and wired directly to modem bypassing router.
    Reset everything including one of the xboxes and I can play with cross save on PlayStation but I main xbox.

    All other online games work.

    Anything I can try to do to get up and running?
    There is an outage
